Languages [French]
– curriculum information
‘Our vision is to create opportunities for communication and literacy skills that lay the foundation for future language learning’
We will develop pupils’ learning of a foreign language by providing valuable educational, social and cultural experiences. Pupils will gain linguistic competence, extend their knowledge of how language works and explore differences and similarities between the English and French languages.
Pupils will explore our multi-lingual and multi-cultural world and how this international dimension gives pupils an insight into their own culture and that of others.
